Re: Not Coping

That sounds like a nice dinner @Birdofparadise8 🙂🌺

I usually have a little steamed veg with the lasagne as lasagne is a bit heavy for my old digestive system hehe 😉

oh - are you alright sweetheart?

sometimes it’s not easy to see someone who looks like our loved ones. I hope you’re ok 🫂💜

Your Granny will always be with you in your heart 🙂🌺

I am sorry, I don’t think I’ll make it to the chat tonight BoP, I have a fair bit of paperwork to do after I make breakfast for the week, for upcoming specialist appointments next week..the first appointment is early tomorrow morning.

I hope the chat goes well, and you enjoy it.
I’ll try my best to attend the next one 🙂🌺💜

Re: Not Coping

That’s really kind @ENKELI , and greatly appreciated 💜😊🤗🌺

I’m really sorry to hear your dad has COPD, it’s not easy to live with, and I hope he’s doing ok..? And also, I hope you’re alright, because it’s not that easy to see a person living with breathing difficulty. If there’s anything I can do please know I’ll try my best 🙂🌺

I guess I’m a little young to have oxygen, however I have a stem cell condition that tends to progress, resulting in changes to red blood cell oxygen carrying capacity, heart function, and lung efficiency which are cumulatively contributing to an overall decrease in available oxygen to organs and tissues. So, I top up with supplemental oxygen which takes the load off all of those organ systems 🙂🌺

thanks so much for your kind words, I really humbly appreciate it 🤗🌺 I kind of think that even though I have my hard moments like we all have, I try hard to not let those moments live my life for me, and instead live for the good and the nice moments, which in turn lifts my mood..if that makes sense..? And I try to share that, if I can 🙂🌺

Oh - 27 sounds quite a bit warmer than expected..? Almost back into late summer temps! 😎
I hope you enjoyed a lovely lazy Sunday afternoon! 😊

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 yes I did see your post, that's why I replied.

I'll try my best to get online, it's unfortunate that we are 2 hours behind, 5.30 is awkward as that's when I'm usually cooking dinner and baking muffins.

💕💐👑

Re: Not Coping

@ENKELI  Chocolate muffins? 😁

Re: Not Coping

@Former-Member I love your positivity gorgeous. I am by nature a positive person but like anyone you tend to adapt to your surroundings. My former workplace was so toxic I became really negative. Now I'm in a new place of work that I love, it's nice to hear my colleagues tell me they love my outlook and that it helps them.

Even though you're facing your own battles you still make time to care for us, your Sane family.

To have MH issues as well as physical health issues is hard and yet you are always so bright and shiny like a beautiful diamond.

My dad thinks his COPD is a result of being in Vietnam although he was a smoker for many years as well. It has become worse in the past 12 months and I believe a lot of it is because of the change in his living arrangements. He's miserable, living in an aged care facility without any opportunity to interact with other people like he used to when he was living independently. I just wish I'd been more forceful and made him come over to WA to live with me, as well as be close to his sisters and brother.

Re: Not Coping

@Glisten bwa ha ha!

Re: Not Coping

It was alright @Former-Member

Nothing like mine, hahaha.

I will be, actually, I don't know.

She will be.

All good have a good night.

Hey @ENKELI

Thank you.

that's okay. If not, we can talk later.

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 hey princess,  I looked for the link but forgot to ask to be included, duh.

I just finished making blueberry and white choc muffins for work, I hope they taste okay! I used a basic muffin mix and added frozen blueberries (thanks for the suggestion, way cheaper than fresh) and white choc buttons.

My brother made spaghetti bolognese for dinner and now I'm going to jump in the shower and get ready for bed.

I hope you have a lovely day today (Monday) and hopefully we'll be able to catch up when I get home from work. From memory Monday is a busy day so I'm not sure what time I'll be home.

Take, much love and heaps of blessings 👑🥰💐👸💙

Re: Not Coping

Oh, okay, you can always tag me here, and I can paste the link for next time.

I'm not joking it was the most fun I've had all week, besides talk to you and other people on here. The live format is so good being able to chat in real time. I hope you can join next week. I know the time frame is hard but you could always make the muffins earlier, but that's just a thought.

Yum, I love spaghetti bolognese.

Thank you. I've just been studying.

I do hope we can chat, but I understand the time frame and your work hours. @ENKELI

Much love to you as well from your princess BoP👸🏼👑🌸🫂

Re: Not Coping

Thanks heaps @ENKELI  🙂 xx

Im so glad you aren't in that old workplace with the toxicity anymore, and in such a wonderful space with your new job.. that is so lovely the staff show their appreciation of your bright light shining amongst them 🙂 xx

Aw, that is really so kind.. I really appreciate it. Better all of us in the lifeboat together, isn't it 🤗💜

Im really sorry to hear your dad is not going well with his COPD of late, with his situation where he lives and the level of isolation he lives with. Stress and isolation do impact on immunity which may indeed have a role to play, however I wondered if there was a way to generate or engage with some social engagement programs for him where he is, or alternatively for him to move closer to you and family? xx

Otherwise, I know living with chronic lung disease (I have bronchiectasis for some years now), there can be low levels of some vitamins that classically happens in lung conditions, so I thought I would add it here in case it might be of interest 🙂 xx

I hope your day went well, otherwise? xx
