Re: BPD

Hey @Noels !

Welcome to the forums!

To find services in your area, go to The Australian BPD Foundation website, go to their newsletter then have a look at NSW services. I know Project Air is in Wollongong. But there are definitely other services.

As well as that, Spectrum VIC has supports for carer workshops which you may be able to access online.

 Hope this helps!

Hey Re: BPD

Hey @Noels a thing that helped me was trying to get in to see a newly qualified dr ...who has recently moved on from being a psychiatry registrar.

In the hospital I go to there are some amazing young psych registrars .....they're not yet psychiatrists but close to it's and are getting practise to prepare them for consulting with patients.

I always keep an eye on the registrars and think "oh, that one will become a really great psychiatrist !"

If you could call any hospitals or clinics and ask if they have any new psychiatrists , maybe they will have more flexible availability ?
