hes only 73 though? he managed to pick 2 things and I found a few tins of things that he likes as well as a few yohurts and custards so we are ok for a few days even if its not overly nutritious.

I think he likes French toast so I could try that too!

yeah my patience is wearing just a little thin atm but I think its contributed also by the crisis that's happening, more pressure is about to be placed on me as well due to schools looking to close on Tuesday meaning a lot of my appts etc are going to be cancelled or rescheduled for the time being.

maybe try getting your mum a blister pack made up @Shaz51 its been quite helpful for pop and in turn for me as im not having to hand out or monitor medications so closely.

and i got "meals on wheels" for mum which has been good @outlander 

and now mum is happy about it as she does not have to cook

it took her a while though @outlander  to accept things 

but she wants me to do everything else

yeah I think the elederly who are use to doing everything or being the providers for so long find it hard to accept help themselves @Shaz51
