new

i am 61 yrs old.  My ex-husband developed late stage schizophrenia about 13 yrs ago.  He is now 62 yrs old.

A lot of things have happened with him over that time with treatments etc which i wont go into detail right now.  It really worries me more because i am not with him anymore but i do visit him regularly and we get on very well.

Hi @linda5211 ,

Welcome to the forums. Thank you for sharing what you have been going through lately. It sounds like you care about your ex-husband very much and you want the best for him.

Does he live alone? Does he have other supports in place?

By reaching out on the forums, I hope you get the support and connection you deserve.

You are not on this journey alone.

Kindest,

Hi @linda5211

Welcome to the forum.

You are both lucky to have stayed friends and he is lucky for your support now.

How are you coping?

I hope he has a good GP and specialist.

I hope he has more support and not just you.
