On a more positive note, we have found a breeder with some whippet pups and Mr Darcy is keen to get one. Even though it has not been long since we lost our Missy Moo, we had always hoped to replace our boy dog (but didn't as our madam did not fret and seemed to prefer being only dog) and had been keeping an eye out for quite some time ... will keep you posted.

Ultrasound was not done till very late in the day @Shaz51  so will not get results till tomorrow and hopefully am idea of how long he needs to be there. Mr Darcy is not happy about needing to be in hospital and is bored, but does not want me to bring anything in.

Mr Darcy still in hospital, preliminary tests suggest surgery will be required, having further tests on Monday.

Have been a blubbering mess this morning. Thinking of too many "what if's" in relation to potential diagnoses for Mr Darcy.
